Blue Room, a Sheep, and Sunday School

Some of you may remember from an earlier blog about how you shouldn't leave vicks out on your child's nightstand. Well the result of that little incideent was a blue room with an orange stripe. Luke would go back and forth between wanting a blue room and wanting an orange room, so I did blue and added an orange stripe. I have never done stripes before and know that it isn't exactly perfect and the same size, but it works!
We have a resident sheep in our midst. He is about 2 feet tall, and likes to scoot on his bum and all we hear most of the day is baa, baa, baa. So if anyone knows where Graham went and who replaced him with a sheep please let us know!!!
Once Luke turned 3 he got to go to Sunday school instead of playing in the nursery. So Joe took him for the first time this past week. Luke came back and was telling me that Jesus got hurt and got a bandaid. Then he said that guys came by and didn't help him. I finally realized he was talking about the Good Samaritan story and not Jesus's death. So when we went home and at nap time he wanted to read the story of Jesus getting hurt and then we watched the Veggies Tales of Jesus getting hurt (staring Larry the Cucumber and Junior to his rescue). It was a fun day or watching my little boy understand part of the Bible. What I don't understand is the fact that I read him bible stories all the time and we talk about stories but he doesn't see as interested as he did in this setting. Oh well we will keep teaching him.
