Snow and Frosty

This is Graham. He is 10 months old now. He loves to smile and is trying really hard to crawl, but hasn't gotten there yet. Today he pulled himself up on the coffee table and knocked over my water glass, the first of many such accidents I am sure. He is attached to Mom at the hip and doesn't like her to be out of arms length away and would prefer to be in her arms.
This is Luke waving to me while eating snow. He doesn't normally like it outside but as long as he keeps his gloves and hat on he did good today. Graham and I stayed indoors while this was happening and Joe taught Luke how to throw snowballs at us through the window!

This the the big frosty Joe and Luke made today. Luke was very instrumental in the decorating

This is how Luke insisted he be carried while Joe was rolling the snowball. He didn't like to "walk" in the snow.

This is a picture I took about a week and a half ago. It was like 40 degrees and I decided we hadn't been outside in awhile. So I bundled the kids up and opened the door and Luke took off sprinting up the driveway (yes all 1500 feet) and never looked back. Needless to say I didn't have a sled or a stroller so I got to carry Graham the whole way up and back as well. Loads of fun (all 20 pounds of him).

snowed in

Well part two of the February snow storm has arrived. We have received 4-6 inches from last night and it is still going. We aren't really snowed in as joe has plowed us out, but I am not going out in the weather until I have to go to work. Luckily my neighbor will

come and watch the boys instead of the regular babysitter, so she doesn't have to go out in the bad roads. Joe drove to court this am, but is thinking it will be canceled when he gets there, so we will see!! Anyway so, this is a picture out our sunroom, all you see is white snow. Graham is busy trying to get at Luke's new train tunnel we made, as he drives all his trains around and around.

Driving Lessons

This is a video from a couple of weeks ago when the weather warmed up. Luke got a john deere power wheels gator for Christmas from mimi. So, we brought it up from the basement in order for Luke to play with it outside. Unfortunately, Luke had no concept of steering, so these are some video clips from the 30 minutes it took us to drive down our driveway. I tried to teach him how to steer and I think he finally was getting the hang of it. The video starts off with Luke crying when he notices that there is mud on his tire and ends with his hands getting cold and abandoning the power-wheels so dad can push it home.

2/6 snowfall

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Tuesday....so that meant another 6 weeks of winter. He must have been right because all of us on the east coast got blasted with a major snow storm last night. We have about 1 ft. in our driveway, but 18 inches in parts of our property. The weekend will be spent next to the fireplace!
