Erin's Visit

Erin left yesterday after being with us for 3 weeks. We will all miss her, as this morning, Luke said Ant E was sleeping. I had to tell him she went back to PNG. Graham also misses her taking care of him at night (Mom and Dad miss that too!!!) We had gotten used to Erin being around to help out, play with the boys, or laugh with. However, we can't always get what we want as God has called her to PNG for this season of her life. We pray for her safe journey back to PNG, good adjustment to the time change, and the ability to get back into her work over there. We miss you!!

FISHING

Well as some of you know, Joe recently purchased a boat. We decided to take Luke out fishing as he loves to sit in Daddy's boat. So being Father's Day, Aunt "E" watched Graham, and we went out for an hour or so. I was thinking Luke would be scared of the water and the boat, but that was not the case. He had no fear what so ever, trying to touch the lily pads, standing and walking all over the boat. He enjoyed catching the fish and wanted to pet them a lot. He also enjoyed throwing the wormies into the water. The best catch of the day was an almost catch, as Joe was using luke's Disney's Car's pole, and ended up getting a 20 inch large mouth bass, however it snapped the line as he tried to bring it into the boat. I think Luke will want to go back fishing a lot!!

Childrens museum

It was a rainy day. So we took a trip to pittsburgh to the childrens museum. We had never been before. So far we enjoyed the food and the bob the builder land. I did not like the optical illusion land and slide. I tried to get erin to go but luke wouldn't go twice!! #

More House part 2

As the house is almost completed things are still happening and exciting. We had our countertops go in today as well as most of the toilets and sinks. The guys are starting to put up a fence in the backyard to keep dogs and children inside. Only a few more weeks, how exciting. The one photos shows Erin in her guest suite by the window. She is all ready to move in!!!

tractor

Our latest house purchase is a john deere tractor. Since Joe and I have the combine tractor knowledge of a 3 year old we got some help from a friend and brought home this 'steal of a deal' we were told. We hope that proves true as we have a lot of work or this tractor to do!!!! #

We are John Deere owners!

Ant E comes to visit

Recently, Erin has traveled from PNG to meet Graham and to play with Luke. She is enjoying the time she is having with the boys and we are enjoying having her here. She has taken over night time feeding duties for Graham and is finding sleeping herself quite challenging. Luke was initially confused by seeing someone who looks like his mommy, and thought he had 2. He now knows there is only one mommy, but at times gets confused as to which one of us is his mommy. At least now he doesn't think she is a computer.

Luke's Grocery Cart

Megan found Luke a grocery cart at a garage sale. I had to go to the store today, so I thought it would be a good idea to bring the cart along for Luke. Luke put random things in his cart that I found at checkout - including tampons.

More house

We found out today they are trying to get the house done so we can move in at the end of this month! We are in panic mode as we were thinking July and not June, but we are happy that things are going so well. They finished the stone work today and started putting in the cabinets and the trim. We have the hardwood floors and carpet left, along with finishing the electric work and the plumbing and then they are done. Yipee.
