Mary's Visit

We had a good weekend with Mary. She helped out a lot with all the boys and enjoyed her time. Graham started to walk with his "walker" aka a stool that he likes to push around the house.
The boys enjoyed having her around and the daily wagon rides down the driveway and all the activities and games they played!

Happy Father's Day

Here are some recent pictures of the family. We had a relaxing Father's Day with just hanging out at the house. The first time for all 5 of us by ourselves! We survived, but we could all use a little sleep!!!!

Eli

We are still hanging out in the hospital to allow me to recover and not deal with 2 rowdy boys!!! Eli is doing great and is very mellow and doesn't cry a whole lot. He likes to be up at night though, so that needs to change. Already we are falling into the pattern of the 3rd child not having a lot of pictures. So we need to remedy that. Thanks for all your prayers and support. We will be going home tomorrow!!!

Landscaping

It is almost our 1 year anniversary of moving into our house. We are finally getting around to landscaping. If I wasn't going to have a baby in about 5 days it would probably already be done. But between someone having to watch 2 kids and not being able to lift anything or have any stamina it has been delayed. We have acquired the help of our friend Daly, who actually knows about landscaping. She worked very hard for about 3 weeks constructing our rock wall and our front beds. We finally got flowers and mulch in place as well.

We have also added 12 new trees to the house area. As have thousands of trees on our property, but they are all about a mile away (ok not really but they are far from the house and provide no shade). So Joe and Daly have gone and planted the trees around the house. We are hoping in about 7-10 years they will

provide us with some shade. Of course all boys love dirt (or mulch in this case). Since all our dirt piles are disappearing mulch will have to do. Graham enjoyed sitting down and watching the action tonight as the final trees were planted and some cleanup was done. I don't know all the plants that were planted but we already had one hummingbird come and sniff things out. We also were very careful about buying trees that deer are not supposed to like as we have about 4 furry friends that walk across our land most nights right out front.
We still have to mulch the side where the boat pad is and then put 2 beds in the back, but we are well on our way to finishing our landscaping project this summer!!!
