Dad and Son

Joe is out in Pennsylvania looking for a house for us to rent. He is having some difficulties when he mentions we have 3 wonderful animals who have never destroyed anything in their lives and have never gone the bathroom in the house. OK maybe that is an exaggeration, but they are fine animals, just reread the Christmas letter.

Luke is 12 weeks now. He weighed 11 lbs last week. He still gets up once at night to eat, but for the most part he is a very happy baby. He is smiling a lot, holding his head up strong, and making lots of noises.

Rain, Rain and more RAIN

We had a SMALL storm Friday night. It dropped just a little rain as you can tell from the pictures above. This is me standing by our mailbox, with the water past my knees. Luckily once the rain stopped the water went down in about 2 hours or so, but it created a mess of people being stuck, cars being stuck, etc. Luckily no damage to our house, nothing got flooded. I can't say the same about Joe's car, but we will know more about that once it dries out. They said about 12 inches of rain fell, it was just that it occured in about 2 hours or so. The other pictures are looking down our street and our into our neighbor's yard (pond). The dogs enjoyed it as they went for a swim in the lake. Luke just slept through it all and doesn't know about the great flood of 2007!!

We have had a houseful most Monday nights to view 24 on the big screen. Monday was the season finale and we will have to wait another year to see what Jack Bauer does to save our country. We thanks the Hale's and Moslener's for joining us and all the goodies every week. We will greatly miss you guys next year.

Super Luke

It is a bird.
It is a plane.

No, it is SUPER LUKE.

We would like to thank the Leiberts for the cool outfit!!! He will enjoy flying around the house in his cape!!

Luke is now 11 weeks old. He is almost sleeping through the night. He is being awake more during the day, more vocal, and loves to play. He especially likes dad to talk in his WHALE voice (we have all seen NEMO). He has grown out of his newborn onesies and is into the 3 months already. He weighed 10 lbs and 12 oz last week. We truly have one superhero on our hands.

New Wheels

Here at the Nash household we have added some new wheels. After having an open house which required the 5 of us (3 people and 2 dogs) to leave our house in the 95 degree heat and travel around Harlingen for 2 hours in Joe's Subaru, we decided it was time to get a bigger vehicle. So here it is.
