It's a hot day here in Harlingen. We're at 90 degrees today. I just got back from walking the dog and we were both ready to get back in the air conditioning after about 2o minutes. Unfortunately, it looks like our stretch of comfortable spring weather (70-80 degrees) is about over and we are in for consistent hot weather for the next 8 months. Thankfully, we'll probably be back in Pennsylvania by August.
This weekend is a busy one, I've got a jury trial on Monday, so I'm inside today preparing for that. It is a DWI case, so my co-counsel, Jeff and I have our work cut out for us. DWI cases are some of the most difficult trials. On the bright side, Megan and I got out to see a movie last night ("Breach") which was very good; it was nice to have some time off from work.
Megan had a doctor's appointment on Thursday. Everything still looks good, although I think we were all thinking we would have a baby by now. Megan's due date is 1 week from today, so this MAY be the week. We are very excited.
