This cute little boy has been affectionately named Monstersaurus Rex after all his crying and fit throwing, mostly when he had ear infections. Which since Christmas has been about every 3 weeks. So we visited the ENT doctor, and opted to get tubes placed in his ears to help with the infections. He was the hit at the surgery center, as he wore his scrubs and loved to play with everyone who came into say hi. Dr. Jones was wonderful and even prayed with Eli before surgery, I barely had time to sit down in the waiting room before I got told he was done. He was a trooper through it all and we hope we can change his nickname soon!!!

Gettysburg
We traveled to Gettysburg, last Monday night for a day trip. We had friends from Texas who were taking a group of kids to Gettysburg and other places up in the East. So we joined their tour bus and went and learned all about Robert E. Lee and those Union men including Joshua Chamberlin. Luke loves to ask lots of questions and enjoyed playing with the rocks and sticks. Graham also was a huge fan of the sticks and the gun he made with one. Eli was quite content to snooze or hang out. We enjoyed the trip.

Memorial Day
A big thank-you to all the veterans out there who served in the military and protected our country over the years!!!
We went to the Harrisville parade today. As some of you know it is a town of about 650 people. The parade was 45 minutes long!! There were many firetrucks from every town around, plus a few baton twirling groups, and multiple tractors. Yes that is right, tractors. I am sure every town has tractors in their parade, but we had about 50!! Fun times. The best was all the candy they threw at the boys. I had forgotten about the candy and we weren't prepared with a bag or anything but luckily Daddy's hat served as a good place to place all the goods. !!

t-ball
Luke is playing t-ball this year. Joe has volunteered to be the coach, so the "Nash Law Office" team had their first game tonight.
It was funny watching these 4-5 yr olds play ball.
Some highlights:
-1st batter from our team, hit the ball and ran to 3rd base
-Luke (#9) was more interested in drinking gatorade and chewing gum than playing
-one kid wanted to try to distract the other team
and steal the ball
-Luke asked if he could take the bat out on the field
with him
-everyone hit and scored multiple runs!!!
It was a blast and we hope to do it again about 10 more times in the next 5 weeks!!!
