Since the temperature is supposed to be in the 50's we decided to go for a walk. Shortly into our adventure the boys decided we were explorers in Antarctica. We looked for polar bears (snowmen parts), went ice fishing-(by throwing rocks into our small crick), ice skating on the driveway! We helped ice bergs melt in our driveway, and even rescued baby penguin eggs(rocks) trapped in ice and brought them home to incubate and hatch. Where they will then proceed back to the river to catch fish for them once they hatch. Madison enjoyed it all from her first backpack adventure. She was often heard making noises so we think she approves of our adventure!
We concluded our adventure by having a koolaid drink and dumping about an inch of water out of each of their boots!
