It is Easter Sunday! Jesus rose from the grave today, the tomb is empty!
We braved the cold weather and went to the sunrise service at church. Everyone was nice and warm. Madison did great and even sung along with the last song! We enjoyed the breakfast at the church afterwards!
Now heading back home for more sleep! Luke found everyone's Easter baskets this am in the search for his. He finally found his hiding behind Legos!

GI Joe
Joe recently introduced our boys to GI Joe tv shows via you tube. There have been many GI Joe v Cobra battles recently. Today it was Eli, Madison and I vs Luke and graham. Eli manned the hospital and fixed the broken helicopter and the guys who got hit. Luke and Graham planned the sneak attack and overtook us. Madison just grabbed anything that was close and likes the tank an helicopter. She was choosing the army men over her bin of toys!

Our Easter project
Someone gave me this idea from Pinterest. So we decided to make it. The boys helped mix up the dirt and grass seeds and then we put everything together. 2 weeks later and we have really tall grass! We are looking forward to Easter so that we can celebrate the empty tomb of Jesus-as He is Risen!

Shields and swords
Spent some time in the basement making swords and shields to use to fight off bad guys, rescue kids who are orphans, and helping the police. Imaginations at work. They rode their cars to work and even fixed flat tires with "pumpers". It will be interesting to see how the story changes when Madison can put in her two cents.

All of the kids have worn this outfit. I decided today was Madison's first day with it! She looks pretty cute to me!

Bowling Fun
Today we had 11 boys, 6 and under at the bowling alley to celebrate Luke's Bday party. IAt around 9 am all 3 kids had their shoes on and were getting their coats on ready to go to the bowling alley for the party, but it didn't start until noon. It was the first time bowling for our kids, except Luke who bowled once at another party. Eli tuckered out after 4 frames and Graham took up his game, until about the 7th frame, when he announced he was done and we had to coax him into finishing out his game. Graham had a high of 72, while Luke ended up getting the only strike the kids had and finished somewhere in the 80's I do believe. There were bumpers out there, so don't think he is bowling prodigy or anything! Grandma and Grandpa were there for the fun, and we all enjoyed a relaxing movie to end the day with of the Sword in the Stone.
Mom and Dad are glad that this party is over and are looking for 49 days of rest before the next child has a birthday. We are hoping for a smaller version of fun as Graham will be 4. He was hoping his birthday would be in 3 days, I think he realized what a birthday might look like and wants one for himself, while Eli doesn't care at all.
Graham was showing Grandpa how to put the ball on the ramp and send it down the lane using the ramps!
Madison is hanging out at home here . She has been sticking her tongue out a lot and trying to move but not quite figuring it all out. Just spins a little.

Look who turned 6!
6 years ago today, this little baby was born. The first sleepless nights (and many there after), the first hunt for pacificers all over the house trying to find something to make him stop crying, the first smile, the first roll over, crawl, and steps, the first words around age 2-the first little boy to steal our hearts. Now he is six, the sleepless nights are not due to him, the pacificer is long gone, the smile continues, we have to get him to stop running now a days, and he often talks too much, but he still he has our hearts.
He enjoyed a Lego themed party tonight, complete with a lego cake. He loves police lego's and already completed the set his Aunt Erin got him that he got to open on his PNG birthday! He can't wait to dive into the rest. He enjoyed his scooter/skateboard and his Mom is wondering why she got this for him already and it has only been 1 hr of usage. His brothers and sister were big helpers in cheering him on with the candles and singing Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday Luke-we Love you!

Rolling over
Someone decided to start rolling over! It only took her 7 and a half months! But she did it 3 times yesterday when she was supposed to be napping! And then wasn't sure what to do with herself as she isn't used to sleeping in her belly!
